Bunty Aur Bubbly Ki Mummy is an Indian TV show which aired on DD National at 9 pm every Monday and Tuesday. The re-telecast of this show took place on every Saturday afternoon at around 12 noon. The stars Benjamin Gilani and Grusha Kapoor were in the main lead. It was directed by Bikramjeet Singh Bhullar and produced by Grusha Kapoor herself. We all love watching shows which highlight the Indian family drama that takes place in every household as we can easily relate to it and it makes complete sense to us! Bunty Bubbly Ki Mummy was one of the most appreciated TV serials right since its release back in 2011.
The major streamline of the story focuses on two families quite close to each other fighting for a piece of land which creates a distance and a bitter feeling among the members of the families. Suman (Grusha Kapoor) was the daughter of Prashant (Benjamin Gilani) who died and left a piece of land which was worth a lot of money without deciding the future owner of the property after Prashant. Things would have been so easy and smooth just if he would not have married another woman. In that case, Suman would have got her father’s property. Fortunately or unfortunately, that’s never the case in Indian TV serials. Indian audience craves for drama centering one party with positive, productive motives and the other party following the wrong route leading to harming others and being destructive.
The war that goes on between the ‘good one’ and the ‘bad one’ as referred to my most of the people does entertain us well. Thus, even this serial did follow the continuous norm of Indian TV serials and had got the attention of many viewers. Suman had a small little world of hers which involved her son Bunty (Master Ujjwal) and her daughter Bubbly (Isha Mishra) after the death of her father. Nobody knew about the piece of land until Prashant had expired. When they came to know about it, Suman’s step mother also occupied herself as the one who deserves to get the piece of land after her husband’s death. It was definitely a difficult decision for her to grab it all for herself because Suman took a step ahead and decided to fight for herself and her kids.
The story progresses with each side doing their best to own the land. It is full of strategic drama, showcasing the life of Suman and her kids and their approach to life as well as the negative circumstances and the manner in which they dealt with the difficult situation but did not back out. It is an emotional as well as the inspiring story which tells us that we must never take a step back no matter how difficult the situation might seem. Whether the good or the bad, it all has an end, so we must accept it.
