Yeh Zindagi Hai Gulshan TV Serial - Doordarshan DD National (DD1)

Yeh Zindagi Hai Gulshan is a one of a kind Muslim social TV serial, which was aired on DD National. It was premiered on February 26, 2012, and still running up to the present. Yeh Zindagi Hai Gulshan was directed by Tabrez Khan and produced by Mushtaq Bala and Suhaib Llyasi under the banner of Debonair Film and Video Communications and Suhaib’s First-rate Creations.

The Yeh Zindagi Hai Gulshan is a story about Shariah who gave equal rights to women to scrutinize their development. It’s a prevailing story that promotes education to all the women and self-awareness to their rights. Yeh Zindagi Hai Gulshan is a combination of drama, action, suspense, and romance which showcases the Muslim culture and their values. It revolves around the life of Safia Mirza (played by Naziya Khan), a smart 22-year old Muslim girl who got her strength from the Holy Quran. When she is facing injustice by society, she assures that she will fight for her rights. 

The makers of this serial aims to remove the misconceptions of the Islam in people’s mind since it is very common thinking that women does not have much rights in the Muslim families such as proper education and more. But in Quran and Hadith, the Islam women have the same rights as men and they should get proper education so they can gain knowledge.
