Shri Krishna was an Indian television serial which was made and directed by Ramanand Sagar. This serial was first relayed on Doordarshan channel from 1993. It was a serial which basically belonged with the life of Krishna. This serial was discontinued to be broadcasted in 1996 and was started again at DD National channel.
It was a spiritual drama which successfully completed its around 155 episodes. In this serial, the role of Krishna Ji was performed by Swapnil Joshi, when he used to be so young and by Sarvadaman D. Banerjee, when he grew up. This serial also got an Uptron award for Best director in 1995.
