Phir Wahi Talash TV Serial was broadcasted on Doordarshan DD National DD1 from 1989 to 1990. Lekh Tandon is the director of the show. The serial is a love story of a girl named Padma and a boy named Ashwini Kumar. Padma is a rich girl, and Ashwini is a poor boy who is studying to be a doctor. The twist is the series comes when Ashwini’s Neighbour who is played by Himani Shivpuri starts liking him. Whereas, on the other hand, Padma has a strict father who is against the relationship of Ashwini and Padma and gets his daughter married to someone else.
Padma also has a close friend Shehnaz which is played by Neelima Azeem who does everything to unite Padma and Ashwini. The character of Padma and Ashwini is played by Poonam Rehani Sarin and Narendra, respectively. S.M Zaheer plays Shehnaaz father, and Rajesh khatter plays Caption Salim.

The art direction of the serial was by Kapil Rahi. Kajol Ghosh composed the music, and Chandan Das sang the title song. Atul Mathur was assistant director. The editor was T.R. Mangeshkar, and the writer of the serial was by Revati Sharan Sharma. The series was produced by Yograj.
