Raghubeer Yadav's Mulla Nasruddin is a serial, which aired on Doordarshan DD National DD1 in Hindi language in 1990's. Mulla Nasruddin was a satirist at the Seljuq Empire. He was born in Turkey and died in the 13th century near Konya. Nasruddin is known as a philosopher and Sufi, and is remembered for his funny tales and anecdotes. He is a part of many stories, both funny and wise, but most of the time, he ends up being the laughing stock. His stories often have a humorous nature with a moral at the end. Mulla Nasruddin is seen riding this donkey in many illustrations. Mulla stories are told throughout the Middle-East and have also inspired many stories across the globe.
