PMS : Pyaar Marriage Shhh TV Serial - Big Magic

"Pyaar Marriage Shhh” or PMS was youth-oriented comedy series, produced by “Sunshine Productions” and premiered on BIG MAGIC on September 7 at 10.30 pm. It features the story of three men, who at first are just neighbors but eventually end up becoming one another’s best friends. However, it’s just not any ordinary friendship but a bond between a flirtatious loaded bachelor, a newly-married guy, and a middle-aged married man. Later on, they tend to share their personal experiences concerning their love-life, also debating on the truth of a married life, and discussing the differences between an arranged and love marriage. In short, the show revolves around their crazy lives.

‘Abhishek Sharma’, who has earlier worked in “Sasural Simar Kaa”, is seen playing the role of a flirtatious millionaire. Abhishek Sharma aka Love Oberoi of PMS is also the same little cute boy from hit movies like “Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai”, and “Champion”, alongside ‘Hrithik Roshan’ and ‘Sunny Deol’ respectively. The character of Abhishek in PMS is constantly on a look-out for beautiful women. Now, talking of his other friends from the comic series, ‘Nikhil Khurana’ has played the role of a newly-married, who’s just been married to his girlfriend, played by ‘Jiya’. Last but not the least ‘Faisal Rashid’ from “Kumkum Bhagya” has been seen playing the charismatic character of a middle-aged arranged married guy. He is paired alongside ‘Devyani Bhatia’ from the movie “Isi Umar Mein”.


This quirky series has explored the famous Greek quote, “Men belongs to Mars and Women to Venus” very effectively in depths that to in a humorous sense. It also talks about differences between gentlemen and ladies and how they approach each other regarding relationships. Nevertheless, the show has also been compared with F.R.I.E.N.D.S, a famous comic series from the west, depicting the crazy stories of five chaps living under one roof. Similar to that of F.R.I.E.N.D.S’s episodes, PMS also consists of those stories which start and ends with the same single story.


Pyaar Marriage Shhhh falls under the same genre as “Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan Season 1”, and “Yeh Hai Aashiqui”. Thereby, targeting the young audience but one cannot resist catching up with this funny series irrespective of their age as eventually all of us would end up relating it to ourselves. PMS’s Producer ‘Sudhir Sharma’ had already held his hopes high for he believed that the concept of the show would decode relationships and marriages in an amusing way.
