The kind of endeavours the Indian Army puts in is incredible. Words fall short to describe their glory. Their selfless acts and hard work is the reason behind our secure borders. However, in our daily lives, we scarcely think about them. It is only in times of despair that we remember them.
As a tribute to the great fighters of Mother India, Paltan TV Serial came into existence. It falls in the genre of 'action drama'. Although many real life incidents are a part of the show, its basis lies in the general perception of the soldiers in the Indian Army. The viewers saw another angle depicting the soldiers' viewpoint of the nation and its civilians. The makers believe that the aim of this drama is to bring forth the 'emotions' felt by the fighters. They wish to spread immense knowledge about the security forces because they are the heroes in every sense of the world. The show also portrays the deep ocean of career opportunities one can find in the army. Not only this, the story writers also very swiftly touched upon the plight of war widows.
This television drama is a dream project for the makers who always found the idea of sporting Army uniforms very fancy. They intricately crafted the technical aspects of the production; making sure that all the equipment, clothing, badges and background settings were adequate.
