Noopur TV Serial - Doordarshan DD National (DD1)

Noopur was a Hindi TV series which aired on the channel DD National in the year 1990. The show is about an ambitious dancer who has to face various ups and downs in her career. Mainly focussing on the classical dance forms of India, particularly Bharatanatyam, this serial featured Hema Malini as the heroine. 

Other cast members include Somayajulu, Mohan Agashe, Kabir Bedi and Ananth Narayan Mahadevan. Famous and celebrated poet and writer Gulzar had written this show.
