Raj Singh had the prior experience of a television show as he acted in the ‘Tum Aise Hi Rehna’ on Sony TV. The show is directed by Shankar Verma, and the screenplay is written by Sanjali Shirodkar. The plot is based on the story of Diya, Sakshi, and Preet played by Geetanjali Mishra, Vandana Singh, and Priyanka Joshi respectively. They are a close group of friends who have only one desire – joining the Indian Army. The show tracks these characters as they try and fulfil their dreams.
The characters of Diya, Sakshi, and Preet are quite different from each other. All three of them represent various kinds of women in the Indian society. Throughout her life, she tries to break free of them and pursue her dreams. Sakshi represents the kind of women who have undergone physical and mental struggles and no longer have the power to overcome their problems.
However, she has a strong resolve and determination that help her conquer her fears and troubles to achieve what she wants. Preet represents the women who understand the society and what they expect of her. She understands the various boundaries and limitations she has. However, she does not let this affect her and pursues her dreams despite the various obstacles. Preet is the quintessential modern women who doesn’t let society dictate her life.
Through these distinct characters, the serial tries to show how women can overcome their challenges to achieve their dreams. The characters undergo various personal and professional problems as they try to fulfill their wishes. They encounter problems from various fronts – their family, society and their peers who doubt their capability to serve in the army. However, at the end of the show, they prove everyone wrong and do fulfill their desire and become army officers.
