'Oh Darling! Yeh Hai India' belongs to sitcom genre of television serials. It was one of the TV Shows kids and family used to sit together and watch. This show aired on DD National in the mid- 2000s. The story revolved around a hotel owner (played by Manoj Pahwa) and his wife who always tried to please him to go for shopping and spending money. Right from making parathas and lassi to compel him to give her money for shopping, to blackmailing him for the same. When not given what she demanded, his wife used to cause more trouble for him and didn't let him go to work.
The second side of the story is about a waiter in his Hotel (played by Vishal Kotian) who is in love with the receptionist Tina and used to try to impress her, which in turn used to irritate her even more. The waiter, his wife, and the servants all keep on annoying the hotel owner. Every day there is chaos in the hotel as well as home. The serial shows the lives of these two people, who struggle to manage their professional and personal lives, including humorous and chuckle some ways to pass little hurdles on every step of their way.
The title track of the show given by Inder Bawra and Sunny Bawra was very catchy. The duo has provided music for many famous shows till date such as `Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev´ on channel `Life OK´, `Maharana Partap´ on Sony and background score for movies like `Hate Story 2´. The main lead of the serial includes Manoj Pahwa. He is a famous Comedian. He started his journey in the television industry and got fame after his role in the famous comedy TV Show `Office Office´. He has acted in many Bollywood movies such as `Wanted´ and ` Singh is King´.
