Anugoonj was a popular Indian Drama telecasted on DD National. Its first episode was premiered on 7 May 1993 and ended in 1994. This show gave one of the finest actors to Bollywood industry, Irrfan Khan. It also featured Dinesh Kaushik. The storyline revolved around a girl. She was in love with her colleague who was not financially stable.
Despite being a daughter of a reputed professor, she ran away with the man. He later dumps her and she was left with no place to go. Hence she tries to kill herself. A political goon saves her and provides her a shelter to live. He lived with a woman and her son. The girl interprets this relationship as something else.
