Ulta Pulta is a famous satirical comedy show which used to air on DD National. It is the brainchild of JaspalBhatti, who is a renowned humorist as well as a satire specialist. He helmed numerous shows through the years, all of which are satirical in nature.

He even directed a full-length feature film in the Punjabi language in the year 1999. The movie marked his debut as a director upon the silver screen.
The film got titled Mahaul Theek Hai and played out as a satire on the police force of Punjab. The viewers enjoyed and gave good reviews for its honest humor. JaspalBhatti also got featured in the movie Fanaa, where he played the role of Jolly Good Singh, a guard. He has also acted in the film Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe, where he fulfilled the character of a humorous college principal. Also, he has performed in the Punjabi comedy film titled Jijaji. He has also acted along with the veteran Kader Khan in Aa Ab Laut Chalen, a Hindi cinema which had released in the year 1999.
