Umeed TV Serial - Doordarshan DD National (DD1)

 Umeed was a Hindi TV serial that aired on DD National in 1989. DD National is a government-owned general entertainment channel. It is the most widely available channel which broadcasts all over India. From its beginning in the year 1959, the channel has come a long way. It now provides family-friendly entertainment and infotainment content. The show, Umeed, was about a young banker with a kind heart. He wanted to be successful in his career and help people in need as well. This character was played by Shah Rukh Khan. The opening song of the show was written by Kuldeep Singh. Each episode was about 25 minutes long.
