The writer and the producer of this esteemed series are Pallavi Joshi, who also plays the leading role of a woman Nikita. The storyline of this show is fictional and not related to any real person or place. This show is about Naval Army and its dangerous and risky operations. In this show, Nikita is depicted as a brawny, dedicated, passionate, and jeopardy stealer Navy cadet who takes place to accept as true state of affairs about woman joining Indian Navy as, by that period, women were not allowed to join combat force in Indian Naval force, but this show established a new attitude among audience about capabilities of women and their joining of Naval force.
In this series, the audience witnesses the everyday life and sturdy training in the naval academy and the professional and personal life struggle faced by a female Navy cadet. The series ended with a climax where the sea cadets’ deals with a war – like a scenario, and ended with a hard-hitting victory. In this series, the fathers of Nikita (Satyen Kappu) ant the brother (Amit Behl) are providing as the officers of the Indian army. She has a reticent companion (Shefali Shah), who accompanies in joining the academy with Nikita. Girish Malik also played the role of Nikita’s friend in the series. The story line of the series is full of thrill and suspense, especially the scenes of operations taken by Navy force may skip a beat of the viewers.
Anju Mahendru, Arun Bali, Tarun Dhanrajgir, Harsh Chhaya are the other characters who played the character of Naval officers of different ranks in the academy. R. Madhavan also has also being portrayed in a vignette role of a Navy officer in the series. After this show, some of the characters like Pallavi Joshi, Harsh Chhaya, Tarun Dhanrajgir, Girish Malik, Arun Bahl, and R Madhavan became well known in the industry of silver screen after the revolutionary and great success of the show.
