Ummid Nayi Subah Ki TV Serial - Doordarshan DD National (DD1)

 Ummid Nayi Subah Ki was a Hindi TV serial that started airing on DD National in 2015. However, it is no longer aired. Ummid Nayi Subah Ki was based on the novel, “Deewaro Se Par Aakash”. The novel is written in Gujarati. The creative director for this show was Sushila Bhatiya and Neepa Satyen produced it. The show was a slice–of–life tale about the various ups and downs a family has to go through and the accompanied discrimination women had to face. The serial tried to break the stereotypes and spread the message of equality.
