Yeh Hai Jalwa is a dance reality show which aired on the 9X entertainment channel every Sunday at 8:00 PM. It premiered on television screens on 16th March 2008. It got aired on a weekly basis, and each episode of this battle got screened for two hours.
The show features some of the biggest stars from the Indian television industry as they groove with their team members. The competition promises to be one of the fiercest dance extravaganzas ever seen on the screen. The show brings to us nine of the most enthralling celebrity dancers in the country and their team of forty-five people who come over from various backgrounds and conditions.

The show featured two ladies every Indian household is familiar with as hosts. They are the television screen’s favorite celebrities SakshiTanwar and Smriti Irani. They later got joined by the multi-talented superstar of Bhojpuri films, Ravi Kishan as the third host of the show. They add a layer of glamor and charisma to the contest.
The celebrity contestants on the show boast of household names like that of the ever smiling Prachi Desai, the impressive duo of the brothers Rohit and Ronit Roy, the dance supremo Hussain Kuwajerwala, the ever controversial Rakhi Sawant, and more.
